Hello, I am Noah
Project manager, parent, and expat living in Zurich, Switzerland.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter living overseas.
How It Started
Moving to Switzerland wasn’t part of our long-range plan. As with many expat relocations, it started as a work opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The initial months were intense—unfamiliar systems, new routines, new expectations. Daily tasks seemed more bewildering than they needed to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet, over time routines took shape. We found places that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built PanoramaMarshCroft
Most information online was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was missing was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap—practical advice drawn from real life in Switzerland.
What This Site Is (And Isn't)
This site is:
- Practical insights gained from living in Switzerland
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever a real change occurs
This site isn't:
- Not a resource from a tourism board
- Not a sponsored review platform
- Not a generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our stay in Switzerland continues, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains helpful, I’ll continue documenting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Zurich or anywhere in Switzerland, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Best regards,
Noah
